Meghan to Reunite With Harry after Arriving in London!

Only yesterday we were chatting about appearances coming in spates when one least expects it and low and behold new images of Meghan have surfaced. Meghan was photographed flying out of Toronto late Sunday night, arriving in London in the early morning where she is now staying at Kensington Palace. Of course Harry is in Malawi for a brief trip where he's camping out at Liwonde National Park, assisting with the elephants. According to various reports he's due back tomorrow. E! News writes: '"She looked happy and pleased to be greeted by airport personnel," says a source at the airport, who adds that the actress didn't mention her boyfriend by name. "She carried her one bag and was accompanied by private security from the car to the gate."' You can view more photos here.

Meanwhile, E! News offers conflicting reports in their article as to whether Harry actually flew out to Toronto before heading to Africa.

'Multiple sources tell E! News exclusively that the 32-year-old prince flew out to Toronto June 17 to visit his 35-year-old girlfriend, who had been busy shooting the seventh season of USA's hit legal series Suits. "They hadn't been together for a while, so it was exciting for both to see each other," one of the sources says. "Harry had planned to fly out this time as he felt it was unfair for Meghan to always be the one flying around, and she'd just come back from the U.S."
According to the source, they "relaxed" at home, "cooking meals together and eating outside in the garden a lot. It's Meghan's favorite 'room' in the house. She calls it a room because it's the perfect patio space." Harry and Meghan wanted to fly under the radar, though they did occasionally pop out to "a couple of favorite spots where people don't immediately run to the press to say they're there," the source tells E! News. One of those places is the home of two close friends, whom the pair visited over the weekend. "Harry and Meghan spent time at Meghan's friend's home, who are now Harry's friends, too. Harry loves being part of her world in Toronto," the source says. "It's nice getting away from London every now and then—although they both love London, too."

The article includes this caveat:

(Another insider denies Harry flew to Toronto to see Meghan after attending Trooping the Colour, insisting that he "hasn't been to Toronto in a month" and was "100 percent" in Africa.)

We know for certain (thanks to photographic evidence Harry visited Toronto before Easter), however, the validity of claims he was there after Trooping the Colour is up in the air. E! News tend to grab Harry and Meghan scoops earlier than other news outlets and kudos to the writer for sharing the conflicting source.

E! News

The article continues to discuss the couple's potential plans for the future:

'In fact, a second insider says Meghan is prepared to move to the U.K. to be closer to Harry. The couple is "in an extremely solid and happy place at the moment," the insider adds. "They aren't rushing ahead at a ridiculous speed or making rash decisions. But, yes, they love each other very much and neither could imagine being without the other. They speak about the future a lot, whether it's getting each other's take on future career plans or where they'll be as a couple. They talk about living in London—Meghan really sees herself moving, and he really wants that."
Harry and Meghan are in a "solid, strong place" at the moment and are "very future focused," the insider tells E! News. "They talk about their future plans together all the time. There's no doubt that he won't propose before the year is out and it won't come as a surprise to Meghan."

It looks like the couple will be enjoying a nice visit together; as to how long Meghan will be staying, I imagine it depends entirely on filming commitments and when she has to return to Toronto. Interestingly, Wimbledon begins on 3 July; we know Meghan is a big fan of the sport and has previously attended matches at the prestigious tournament. It would be great to see her there this year.

Meghan opted for a casual, comfortable look with a sweater, loose fitting jeans and a baseball cap. With thanks to the talented ladies at Meghan's Mirror, it looks like Meghan wore The Cashmere Crew Sweater by Everlane. The piece is described as "Warm, soft, lightweight, and timeless—this cashmere crewneck is guaranteed to be a favorite." The piece retails for $100.

Meghan carried the $128 Patterned Raffia Tote by Hat Attack.

Perhaps we'll see a shot of the couple enjoying a romantic date in London :)

  1. At long last she re-appears. yay.

Charlotte, I also thought it was professional of them to mention the two different takes on Harry visiting Toronto after Trooping the Color. Very refreshing.

She got the Royal treatment at the airport. Niice.
Bet she'll have fresh flowers and a nice lunch/dinner awaiting Harry when he gets home.

It will be interesting to see if Meghan is going to be able to extend her stay for the opening of Wimbledon. How awesome would it be if she showed up there with a certain handsome Prince by her side. :)

  2. Love the sweater. Classic Italian cashmere available in a lot of pretty colors.

    From $160 to $200.

    1. The sweater that I mentioned is from J Crew, from the original post. The one from Everlane looks even better (with a more fitted crew neck) and it costs less. Good shopping, Meghan. :)

  3. Perhaps she knew he was in need of urgent moral support given the media storm he found himself in, which made significant news on both sides of the Atlantic so she wouldn't escape it either. I wondered was she attempting an incognito look with the glasses...?

Wouldn't it be interesting if she showed up with Kate at Wimbledon! That would be quite a statement :)

  4. I am sure he could use some big hugs right about now.
Perhaps they will stop by to see how the renovations are going on the larger KP apartment that Harry is reportedly having renovated for he and Meghan. If that is true, surely Meghan has been allowed some design input even transcontinentally via the internet. Kate always got to decorate the apartments and houses that she shared with William (except maybe their first shared apartment as there were others living there who at time probably had input also.) Hopegully, we will hear more on that, affirmatively.

    1. The Gloucesters still live in that apartment. Not sure why Meghan would have input on decor on their apartment.

    2. Princess Michael had suggested, in Tatler, that Harry might move there as the Gloucesters' children had grown and the apartment was now too big for them. (And the Goucestors probably said, Thanks a lot, and p.s., why don't you mind your own business.) lol That was awhile ago. Since then Sebastian Shakespeare in the Daily Mail has written from "a source" that with all the renovations going on at Kensington Palace to do the basement of the Orangerie, etc., an apartment is also being renovated for Harry. His "source" said that Harry has stopped by to check on the progress because he is so eager to move in there with Meghan. Most of the other outlets ran that story also. The Express, Minnie White, 2/17/17, Steve Robson, Jessica Gibb, The Mirror, 5/9/17, Josh Duboff, Vanity Fair, 5/20/17 and so on. So, I have been trying to find out more about that but to no avail so far. (I was hoping, since it's kind of big news if it's true, that perhaps our dear Charlotte could get some more reliable information for DKB pertaining to that. 🤞) If renovation is in progress, I do believe Meghan would have some say in the decor, for sure, albeit under the advisement of Lucy Wolsey. What fun that would be. And if there is a larger apartment being renovated for Harry and Meghan, then perhaps they are already engaged. We are talking about a possible renovation of an apartment in Kensington Palace after all. :)

    3. I agree with surfer girl, there has been a lot of media coverage regarding renovations that Harry is overseeing at KP. For his age and his role in the BRF, regardless of a girlfriend or not, I think he deserves an upgrade :-)

Any idea as to when the filming of suits will end ?
Maybe then Harry n Meg will get some quality time together .

    1. I have heard the filming will be completed in November.

    2. And I read it somewhere I cannot remember. It might have been the season ending in November? But I do think it was about filming. I just googled it and can't find the article.

  6. This is a confusing statement: There's no doubt that he won't propose before the year is out and it won't come as a surprise to Meghan." As written with the double negative, Harry won't propose this year. I'm thinking that is not what this supposed insider intended to say.

    1. You are right I was a little confused as well. I think the insider meant to say he or she doesn't doubt there will be an engagement before the end of the year.

  7. Does Harry employ any household help at all? A butler? A housekeeper/cook?

    1. I would be amazed to find out he cleans his own bathroom.

    2. He was in the military. He probably does a lot of menial things, though probably from time to time rather than regularly on account of the travel and time constraints which his royal duties demand. I wouldn't be at all surprised.

    3. I was just wondering if when Meghan arrived recently, whether a butler greeted her upon arrival at Not Cot since Harry wasn't yet there. He might have a butler to oversee tidiness, laundry, etc. and to make sure his guests are nicely looked after.

    4. I doubt he's got a butler; the place is too small. But I bet he has staff.

  8. Why does the article writer get kudos for basically contradicting their own story? If its possible Harry was never in Toronto, then the account of Meghan and Harry dining in the garden is basically fan fiction. Very odd

  9. According to photos of Meghan's wedding to Trevor, Harry did not give Meghan that Cartier "lock" bracelet.
Apparently Trevor did, as she is photographed at their wedding wearing it. Martha Cliff is the second one to say that Harry gave that to her. I hope they get their facts straight.

  10. Apparently Channel 4 will be doing a program later this year called "Meet the Markles", interviewing 35 of her friends and relatives. This is reportedly going to be available in the latter part of this year. One of the first thoughts that came to my mind about this when they were describing the flavor of the program was....Camilla. I truly hope I am wrong about that.

    1. "What Harry Will Find Out" is nothing most likely compared to all the past (and some of the present) headlines concerning the Windsors. So, upon reflection, I think Meghan is safe, regardless of the "Meet the Markles". Hopefully.

  12. Sorry, Diana's grave re-dedication is what I mean.

  13. The Archbishop of Canterbury is officiating a rededication memorial service this Saturday at Diana's burial site by Oval lake on the family estate of Althorp.
The service will commemorate Diana's birthday.
Kensington Palace announced that Wiiliam, Kate, the children, Harry, Earl Spencer, and Diana's two sisters will be in attendance. They didn't mention Meghan, but if she is in London, do you think Harry would have her by his side there?

Hannah Furness, The Telegraph, 6/28/17, "William and Harry Rededicate... ".

    1. The rededication comes as a result of the year long renovation of the lake and burial site that was supervised by Earl Spencer's wife, Karen. yay, Karen. :)

    2. The woman that accompanied Meghan at the airport, the official airport rep, haven't we seen her before?

    3. If she is in London, I think she will be there with Harry. He has said in interviews that trips he makes on behalf of the Queen can be very lonely and he "is not allowed to being anyone with me." He was very glum during Trooping, especially the balcony appearance. I think he will regard Saturday as a personal event and that he should have whomever he likes with him, and royal protocol can shove off.

    4. Surfer girl I was asking the same question above, so at least two of us are thinking it's a possibility :-) My thought is it's a good possibility - this is his personal life and he probably wants her with him. Being personal, and her not being part of BRF, KP probably doesn't have to comment on her (but somehow they had to announce Pippa's wedding...). Anyway, Harry probably doesn't want Meghan mentioned anyway which I think is fair - to keep it more intimate to hoepfully reduce the number of paps lining up for road shots.

  15. I hope Meghan gets to accompany Harry to the memorial service. Like RF said, he deserves that kind of support. It isn't an "official Royal" event so I hope everyone would feel comfortable with Meghan being there.

  16. It would be an ideal time to include her imo. A way to introduce her to that side of the family & to Diana & to have her support & comfort. It would show the seriousness of the relationship

  17. I hope meghan goes. But E! News if to be believed said she wasn't going just going to offer "moral support."

  18. I have to say I think Harry has turned into a bit of a whiner since he's been dating Meghan. I wish he would verbally embrace his heritage a bit more. Retrospectively, he should have been proud to escort his mother's coffin on her last ride down the streets of London. She loved them so, so much. Although he was reluctant and nervous to walk at that time which I could understand, it was a wonderful way to honor his mother. He is a monarch, a leader with many priveleges, and I'm glad those around him encouraged his participation. Yet he focused in his interviews on how he did not want to do it. A shame.

    1. Really? He was 12 years old. A kid. A kid lost his mother suddenly and so tragically...and his thought process should be that he's proud? I mean really, some empathy wouldn't hurt.

Welcome to Mad About Meghan! We do so look forward to reading your thoughts. Constructive, fair debate is always encouraged. Hateful, derogatory terms and insults are not welcome here. This space focuses on Harry and Meghan, not any other member of the Royal family. It's not the place to discuss politics either. Thank you for reading, we look forward to your comments :)
