Harry & Meghan to Visit Cardiff Next Week!

I was delighted to see news of Meghan and Harry's next pre-wedding engagement earlier today. Kensington Palace confirmed the couple will visit Cardiff next Thursday, 18 January. They plan to not only visit cities and communities in England but also locations around the UK. Aside from the visit to Wales, I think we'll see 'away days' in Scotland and Northern Ireland too. What's on the itinerary in the Welsh capital? The Palace said the couple will enjoy "a day showcasing the rich culture and heritage of Wales, and to learn more about some of the organisations working in communities across the country".

Their first stop will be the iconic Cardiff Castle, its history dating back 2,000 years. During their tour, Prince Harry and Ms Markle will hear performances by musicians and poets, meet leading sportsmen and women, and see how organisations are working to promote Welsh language and cultural identity.

Their next stop will be Star Hub, a community and leisure centre in the Tremorfa area of the city to see how sport is being used to engage young people and aid social development. There they will see how StreetGames, a delivery partner of Sport Wales and the Welsh Government, and an organisation with which Prince Harry has worked previously, is helping to make sport accessible to all young people, regardless of their social circumstances. It does this by supporting and establishing over 1,000 locally trusted organisations around the UK to deliver doorstep sport.

They will also meet young women who are taking part in the Us Girls project, set up with the aim of driving a step change in female sport participation across the UK and addressing the barriers that prevent many girls and young women from taking part in sport and physical activity. To date it has mobilised 5,000 girls and young women across Wales. Regarding news about the royal visit - Us Girls tweeted 'brilliant'. :)

I understand there will be opportunities for members of the public to meet the couple; these will be announced nearer the time. This will be the ideal time for Meghan to visit Wales and for Harry to introduce his future wife to the country. If the reaction from the public in Brixton is any indication, I expect we'll see quite the turn out! :)

What will Meghan wear on the day? Several of you suggested, red and green, the colours of Wales. I think that's an excellent suggestion and a very solid possibility. Perhaps a nice red and green coat? A jumper and trousers combination underneath, or a nice dress with boots would work very well. Do you have any style predictions?

It should be a great day!

  1. So far, MM has worn white, navy, gray, and the beige-ish Christmas coat. She doesn't seem to wear the bright basic colors that Kate wears, so my prediction is a hunter green coat. I don't know if she can work the red and bright green of the flag. I'm thinking of a hunter green long coat, a long black skirt with black boots, and a white thin sweater. A scarf with some of the brick red in it would look good. It looked like she had a gold chain on at the Brixton visit but it was behind her black sweater. And I hope she has her hair down because it is so beautiful!
And I saw that Kate wore black jeans at her unannounced visit---later I wondered if she did that to hush any negative comment over MM's pants. Kate is such a thoughtful person that I could see her doing that, to avoid MM having any concerns. I think Kate is just thrilled at Harry having such a nice fiancee.

    1. Allison, I have a similar vision on the shades of green and red that we may see Meghan wear... 😊

    2. Yes, she seems to have a carefully picked palette of shades that she prefers, which is why she always looks so good. Kate can wear bright colors better.

    3. I agree on your outfit assessment minus the red scarf. Hunter green is a color right in her wheelhouse. I follow Meghan's Mirror and Ehat Meghan Wore on twitter and both have been updating with items Meghan has worn in years past. Almost all are neutral colors. Very few 'loud' colors(fire engine red, apple green, etc).

A classic black and white combo with a darker color jacket would be great. Well, really, I would see Meghan doing any combo of all three-classic winter white slacks and hunter green top and black jacket, etc. i could also see dark burgundy skinny slacks and ankle boots. Okay, upon further reflection, the white pants might not be applicable here with sporty events, but I like the look and think she should/could wear it in the future, so I am leaving it.

It is indeed beautiful, bluhare. I was lucky enough to make a tour around Wales during my one year in Britain. I remember all the demolished castles (Cromwell, I think, was the culprit for that) we visited until I screamed "One more demolished castle and I am going to STRANGLE YOU!!!" ("You" being the son of the owner of the company I was working for at the time, ahem...).... Caernarfon was absolutely stunning, though...
While visiting Cardiff, I had the best fish and chips E V E R.... a small shop by the sea, they were wrapped in newspaper (very classic! :-))) ), the fish was EXCELLENT, we were sitting on a bench, overlooking the sea, it was getting dark, the air was crisp and cold, absolutely breathtakingly beautiful, the whole scenery... fond memories!

  5. How exciting to hear they've got another day of work scheduled already. And, it sounds like a pretty full day. I really appreciate that they are spending so much time at their engagements.

    My style predictions are:
--trousers again (since sporty, festival activities)
--maybe a coat by howie, a Welsh ethical outdoor/sporting clothes company. Maybe something like this: http://www.howies.co.uk/women/clothing/jackets/womens-jayquillan-wool-jacket.html?colour=1234
    --red sweater for Welsh flag
--low-heeled black boots or flats of some kind since they may want to take part in some of the activities of the day
But, as she's been doing all along so far, everything she wears will be from UK brands/designers.

  8. Trying this again. First time trying to post!

Saw another online article on how Megan is (supposedly) influencing Harry's clothing choices. He looked WONDERFUL at Brixton--no more bright light blue suit!!

I thought it looked too casual of a color when he wore it for their engagement photo call and engagement interview when Megan was in a dark jewel-tone dress. I think he's been in a bit of a color-rut with that lighter blue lately.

The other online article also showed him in a dove-gray suit with muted gray tie...he looked SUPER!

I hope he continues to branch out into more earth tones over the bright blue as his coloring can really pull off those pallates.

    1. I agree with you, Anett. Just wear something appropriate and stylish. Trying to pick up the colours in a flag, or a national plant (the fern on the shoulder of Kate's dress in New Zealand) gets a bit old, very fast. The fact that a royal has come to visit, shows they care. They do not have to festoon themselves in symbols.

      Delete
    2. I tend to agree with not being a fan of theme dressing. Now wearing a piece of jewelry given to you or the BRF from the area or country you are visiting is a nice respectful gesture, but not the matching colors of flags and wearing national symbols etc. If you happen to love some design element tied to an area or country then great have fun with that. (i.e. tartan or classic Irish sweater wear)

    4. Count me in this camp as well. I find the theme dressing, frankly, cheesy and old-fashioned.

      Delete
    5. Maybe it seems old fashioned because the Queen has done it for years. Cheesy? Matter of perspective. If it is your country getting the nod, it might be a sign of respect or affection to you.
Otherwise, isn't there something inherently cheesy about the whole royal ritual? I am thinking of William looking slightly sheepish with the plumes of his KOG headdress drooping in his face, Kate on the balcony stifling a giggle.
Wasn't there a scene in The Crown with Phillip railing against wearing some ridiculous headpiece?
If you enjoy following the royals, a certain amount of cheese is part of the package.

    6. I put my reply in the wrong place somehow:
I can see your point, but I can go the other way on this one. While Megan is trying to “build a relationship” with the people of Britain, I think it’s pretty wise for her to salute heritage, flags, symbols, etc. She’s trying to build a connection in a short period.
Likewise, I think it’s wise to do this when you go elsewhere on their diplomatic missions to try to build a connection, and give a nod to the country‘s culture. But I also agree that after the first year or two, it would seem weird and boring if Megan continues to incorporate set symbols in her travels in the UK.

  15. I don't see Meghan as the type to match her clothing to whatever cause like Kate does in a very matchy-cutesy way. I think neutral basics are much more stylish anyway.

  16. Sounds like they have a lot of active engagements. I think she should stick with a pair of black or tweed slacks, paired with a white blouse or sweater maybe her favorite shirt from Misha Nonoo and a red coat to pay tribute to Wales and a pair of flats which she prefers over heels.

  18. The Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Diana dressed in styles and colors that gave a ‘salute’ to the country they were visiting. Nice thing to do, by the way. I don’t know what Ms Markle will wear, but I’m excited to see it. Thanks, Charlotte.

    1. I like your reference to "salute". Generally speaking, I do see it as a thoughtful and respectful gesture, rather than theme dressing, etc.

      Delete
    2. I like 'salute' too. There's a very big difference between wearing a designer or metal specific to a region you are visiting and doing something completely cheesy like wearing head to toe 'I ❤️ Wales'. Even color wise. It could be totally cheesy but even red/green/blue are pretty neutral colors. You can wear one of those colors and look completely normal and not like you are a walking flag.

That being said, that's a very open 'Kate' specific thing. I don't think Meghan will emulate it in the same way.

      Delete
    3. The people of Wales, from what I can gather, would feel very honored for Meghan to reflect Wales in some way in her outfit choices. And, like rf, I see it as "thoughtful and respectful" also and not as "theme dressing". Meghan will do so very intelligently and not "cheesy".

      Delete
  19. No to theme dressing it’s cheesy and 80s looking. If she does a nod to Wales then she should pick either green or red not both. Green would be my best guess since she’s been trying to be low key with her clothing colors and not flashy.

  20. This is a little off topic, but I thought of interest. Meghan's half sister seems to want to blab to the media every chance she gets. Most of it is negative and unkind. A Canadian publication has called her to task on this and supports Meghan. Give it a read:

    1. IMO, she seems a deeply unhappy person. With a lot of unresolved childhood issues. Both her brother and her seem to think everything was done to keep their little sister happy, rightly or wrongly, they felt their father had only eyes for her. One can imagine the teenagers frustration. It was decades ago, but they have still those feelings, perhaps because they never sorted them out. Add to that her malady, she is a very embittered person. Of course she shouldn't speak to the media. Of course it is negative and sterile. But I have the impression she can't help herself. She is more to be pitied than to censured and what she says cannot even reach her successful, happy, popular sister. She is only hurting herself.

    2. Good article. Not that the advice will be taken.

And I truly wonder how many wedding invitations will make it to this side of the pond. Because if you think this bunch is talking NOW, just wait....

      Delete
    3. The brother actually said something similar like their dad payed more attention to Meghan than he did to them when they were little.
That’s on their father that’s not Meghan’s fault. To drag her mother into this is disgusting! Meghan is a grown woman if she choosing not to deal with her siblings that’s on her, not her mother.
Her siblings have daddy issues they need to work out. Attacking daddy’s lil girl isn’t going to give them peace sure it may line their pockets for a short time but eventually people aren’t going to care as much.

      Delete
    4. I recently heard an old quote from Armisted Maupin about having "biological" relatives but choosing your 'logical' relatives, or family. These half-siblings seem to be miserable and that would be the fault of their parents. Meghan once said that she chooses to be happy; I think she is keeping away from "toxic" people including relatives, and I think it's having a great effect! I've read what both siblings have said, but that's all one can do--read it. How do we know, for example, if Meghan offered her father some money and he refused (as I think he would)? How do we know the real reasons that Meghan has issues with this group? And why doesn't father tell his kids to shut up? I think it's a big messy family and Meghan has retreated to the safety of her mother and other sane people she has met along the way.

I noticed that there are photos of "little" Meghan with her family but I missed those when she was older, except for the one 9 years ago when "sister" graduated. When the romance first became public, I went to MM's FB page and really enjoyed it. That was when someone could post a comment, and there was someone named "Sparkle" who wrote nasty hateful things. I suspect "Sparkle" is short for "Samantha Markle."

I hope MM does not look at any of the "news" about her half-siblings, her father, why she touches her hair, and so on---and that she just does what she needs to do to keep happy.

    5. Royal Fan, Monica and Allison, you all make some excellent points. As they say, "You can choose your friends; you can't choose your family," Meghan's half sister and half brother seem to have major chips on their shoulders. Whatever the dynamics are, whether Meghan was a favourite child or not, their pettiness, bitterness and jealousy only make the siblings look bad. Most people are fed up with hearing from them. That phrase, "Take the high road; it is less travelled," certainly applies here. I'm sure Meghan will do just that.

The easiest AND most effective thing to end all this "rubbish talking": DON´T READ IT. It´s the same as with paparazzi shots: Sales/clicks are going down as soon as paparazzi photos appear = no more paparazzi shots are bought by the media = no one will do them anymore. IT´S UP TO US. I´ve stopped reading ANY article about what any of her siblings says. Why support "bad-mouthing your sister in order to make money"? We all have a CHOICE. We read it = we signal the media "We want more/Give us more". We don´t = we signal them "We don´t want that/Give us something else". At the end of the day, the media are all doing the same thing: fighting for OUR attention. How do WE allow them to get it?

      Delete
    7. Having read none of the articles, I probably shouldn't my comment but....I wonder how much of it was really 'Dad paid more attention to Meghan' verses 'Meghan's a baby/ young child and...' is going to get a pile of a Christmas presents while the older kids just get one or two more expensive items; is going to need to be carried/watched closer because we are in a busy parking lot; is a small child, so yes, you pause your conversation and watch her impromptu dance performance on the back patio. These could look like Meghan is the favored child when in reality, the other two outgrew this phase and just don't remember it from their childhood.

      Delete
    8. I think the siblings have struggled in life. Meghan got the private education and many advantages that they didn't. Her life has been easier because of that. That's bound to cause resentment. They should not be doing what they are doing but their frustration can be understood. Its not Meghan's fault but the situation is a perfect storm for major discontent. I think almost anyone would need years of therapy if they were in these half sibling's shoes.

      Delete
    9. Exactly, Laura. :-)

Eve, I understand your theory, but I'm not sure it's that simple (at least not in this case, or at this time). The motivation behind some of the blabbing is not difficult to figure out. But what about H&M's engagement interview, where we learned that he has not met Meghan's father? IMO, this adds fuel to some of the speculation regarding her family. I do not know the details regarding her father, but can we agree that both H&M (individually or as a couple) could have paid for a plane ticket or two at some point before sharing their engagement with the world?

      Delete
    10. Eve & Katie C.H., I agree! I completely tune out to what the tabloids are saying Meghan’s half-siblings are saying...sounds like too much drama :( And who really cares, as long as Harry & Meghan are happy :)
I definitely think her half-siblings are just recalling Meghan getting a lot of attention as she was the youngest & the baby of the family, not because she was the favourite.

Royalfan: That thing with her father raised more than one of my "therapist´s eyebrows", if you know what I mean.... ;-)))
No matter how it came to them getting engaged without Harry having met her father, it´s pretty "unusual", especially knowing how public that story would immediately be.... People can tell me what they want, if Meghan had a close, natural, loving relationship with her father (and you can have that to a "divorced father", too), it would have been the most natural thing in the world to present Harry to him first. It´s just the most natural thing to do. The reasons why it didn´t happen, we can only speculate about. Obviously there are some issues and I hope they can all deal with it in a way that is good for all of them. But in the case of Meghan´s siblings and her so-called "best friend", the intention was quite clear - after all, everyone knows today how the tabloids work. It was an easy way to make money and they quite obviously don´t give a toss about Meghan... not something I like to support...

    12. good point, rf.😊 A Royal engagement is big potatoes. And that was a curiosity especially when a point was made during the engagement interview that they had gone to some effort to make sure Meghan met as many of Harry's family and friends as possible, including Diana's side of the family. So it is a curiosity that Harry has yet to meet Meghan's father. And I also hope that we see fun photos where she has taken Harry to meet Doria's family. Perhaps the security element in Rosarita played a factor in Harry and Meghan not purchasing those tickets as it has been reported that Rosarita is an area high in violent crime. Even when they do go to visit there, if they do, perhaps a private, unannounced flight would be best. I hope they visit with her father and Doria's family soon. Meghan's Uncle Joseph sounded like a fun and sweet guy.

    13. Erika.😊 good points also. I do believe that Meghan's father is helping Meghan's half-sister and has been for awhile. Thus his frugal lifestyle in Mexico. Both his older children have commented on the fact that he is very concerned about his children and very self-sacrificing. My prayers are definitely being prayed for that family.
As the Middletons can no doubt attest, it is not an easy task having a Royal family member. I hope Meghan and her family get the kinks worked out or that could be problematic on an ongoing basis. Love will find a way. Love never fails.

    14. All the chidren do seem to speak highly of their father, surfer girl. It does appear that Meghan had a completely different childhood and was given the tools for her success that the others were not. Again, no one's fault. Just the unfairness of life. However, I can see how it would cause very deep problems. I don't know what the solution for this family would be.

    16. Yes, Eve, it is somewhat unusual. Perhaps it was due to an unwillingness or preference on someone's part...who knows. But family dynamics can be complicated and, in the end, I hope Meghan does what is right for her (and Harry going forward). And as far as her siblings are concerned, I would understand if they do not receive an invite.

SG, big potatoes indeed and the speculation will not subside anytime soon; certainly not before May 19th.

Erika, your reasoning may be on the money, but I think it's sad that they feel the need to "go there" with the press. And the more they do, the more I hope Meghan keeps them at arm's length...and then some! :-)

    17. Meghan, her mother, and her father all had celebrated Thanksgiving dinner together in November 2016. Meghan did an instagram post of his giant hand and Doria's small hand reaching across the dinner table along with a caption thanking them. That should confirm what Meghan says about her parents. In following their story I have learned the Meghan and Harry are both very honest. I could make a list of things that people questioned the veracity only to find out Meghan or Harry had actually been truthful when the facts finally emerged months or even a year later. There is no conspiracy.

  23. The hate Meghan gets is probably why certain rules were bent for Meghan and not others. Yes the others got criticized but not attacked for their race. It was to not only to show the press and public we accepted her as one of us already but to show her as well they accepted her. I mean I’m sure she knew that privately but to have that support on the world stage is huge. Of course she has had her mother, close friends and certain relatives as her support system then to add her soon to be husband, brother and sister-in-law to that is great. I hope she keeps being positive and not let the negative people and things get in.

    1. Honestly, I suspect some rules were bent(if any truly were at all) because of the Queen/PP's ages. They are very important to Harry and I think he wants to ensure both parties get to know each other and take part in things together as much as they can.

I then spent way too much time trying to find an email for Ms Fryer in case she would carry a message to Ms Wiltshire, but to no avail. What struck me was that Ms Wiltshire said she loved MM because she brought love to Harry. I think that a lot of people so want Diana's boys to have a happy life, as opposed to just be royalty watchers. The emotion that woman had, and it seemed to be returned by MM, who was very kind to not freak out at someone grabbing her, made me shed some tears. I thought the woman was just overcome by by having a future biracial princess/duchess, just like Obama's inauguration was so emotional. But she is so generous and kind to care that Harry is happy after having such a dramatic life herself. It would be so cool for her to go to the wedding! I hope the PR people take note of all the good stories that surface.

I hope Meghan doesn’t “theme” dress during her visit. I’m loving the neutral colour palette she’s using right now...I think she should stick to it. Then she can work her way to Her Majesty’s level of brightness & colour later down the line :P

  29. Really looking forward to seeing M&H in Wales this week - Funny - I can remember watching the walkabout that Diana did in Carmarthen back in 1981 - it was so wet and dreary but she did a huge walkabout and by the end of it the feathers in her hat were drooping and it was one of those endearing Diana moments that captured the hearts of everyone and a sign of things to come. I hope Meghan and Harry have the same joyous time and similiar reaction.

And yes I think she'll not go to over the top with the colour matching but a dramatic red coat would be a great to kick things off on this quick introductory "nations tour" saving a green for Northern Ireland and some sort of tweed/tartan for Scotland maybe? Or she could just go all neutral again on us - a blush pink coat would be good too. Crisp white shirt and simple skirt underneath

  30. I have great confidence that MM with the wisdom of her mom found her path years ago. When I first heard of the new girlfriend of Harry's, I looked the name up and thought how beautiful and cute she was, how smart she was, how clever and innovative she was---and I saw that no one had a bad word for her. Not a coworker, not a friend, not even her father's first wife! Except, of course, the siblings. Even the siblings' children profess to think she's great. And I noticed that she is thoughtful and listens---when she was receiving "direction" re the Christmas curtsy, she handled it with grace as if she was taking direction from directors in a movie.
When I first looked her up, I thought at the time---if Harry can get her love, he will be the luckiest man alive. One friend of harry's was recently quoted as saying she had an air of zen (paraphrasing)---that he was sure she had flaws but had not seen any. What's not to be jealous about? Once I realized that Harry would prefer her to me (an overweight married 64-year-old in Texas), I decided to sit back and enjoy. She's not overtly shy and has a great fashion sense, so we didn't have to wait for that!

Although attacks may be more numerous now that she's in the media everywhere, she has a large group of protectors now. Sometimes I think the PDA is meant to reassure Harry that she's right next to him and is safe. And I understand why the siblings developed as they did, but we don't know what MM knows.

And was anyone else shocked that the dear sister expects MM's children to be something akin to Hobbits? She described them in a very strange way.

My vote is to send them each a huge amount of money and then forget them.

    1. I feel like you do, just sit back and enjoy it all. The article by Tom Bradby is one of my favorite about the couple: https://www.standard.co.uk/comment/comment/tom-bradby-for-country-royals-and-prince-harry-meghan-markle-is-the-perfect-choice-a3703981.html

He also said that the only thing that really upsets Harry now is protecting Meghan from the press.

I don't see their mutual PDA as clingy. Harry reaches for Meghan as much as she reaches for him. They both give each other back rubs. Its not PDA but PDS...public display of support. Harry has said before that he places his hand on his stomach when he is nervous especially when it comes to the media. They must both feel overwhelmed by it all. They both care and comfort each other in the face of media attention.

    3. Mimi, thank you so much for sharing that article. It was well written, supportive of Harry and Meghan and gives us all hope, that this marriage will be good for the couple involved, the monarchy, the nation and people who care about the Royal Family.

I have found the PDA as a tad clingy, but I am going to try to think of it as PDS, as you so well describe it. May the happiness that Harry and Meghan now feel, continue to grow in the days ahead.

    4. Thank you. :)
And, Mimi, I agree with you---it's hard to realize that Harry feels nervous, but much earlier pictures show him with his hand inside his jacket, as you say.
I also think he wants to be ready to protect her in case anyone tries to physically hurt her.

    5. Mimi, Allison. 😊 Yep. Let's you know how he perceives the media.
Harry served active duty in Afghanistan. The media should be a breeze for him but he lived through a lot of crazy media headlines and harassment growing up so Harry being wary is understandable. And woe if anyone tries to hurt Meghan. (They won't.)

  31. Allison.😊 hobbitts? I didn't read that but, sadly, her comments are all, all, all over the board. Her praises of Meghan, to me, don't ring true but sound to me more like an attempted about face after poor public reception of her bad comments about Meghan.
Where did you hear her hobbit comments if you don't mind my asking?
Also, I did see Priddy?, her unfaithful friend's photo taken with the team from E News almost like she has joined that celebrity reporting team. I hope not but....

  33. SG---I have tried to find those comments but cannot---I should trip over the again, though, and will send. I thought it was in SG's latest round of "even though MM's an awful person I love her" rants in which she said it was MM's mo who is to blame for any problems. Then SG said she so looks forward to seeing M's kids because (and here's where I forget the actual words but they were weird) the babies would be so cute wand quirky with funny ears. Something like that. I mean, why wouldn't they look like regular babies? So now she attacks Doria and MM's future children and is waiting to visit and have tea. I was thinking that after the payoff (brother's booze and sister's new house---remember her GoFundMe page for a new house?), they might truly have nothing to say that anyone would listen to. I feel guilty reading about them but I work on the computer all day and it is my mindless downtime.
I did see that her pretty pave diamond ring on her right hand is being claimed by the designer, who is delighted to do so. It is pretty.

    1. SG--little embarrassed that I actually found the quote but here it is: “I wouldn’t give [that] up even if he has because that’s a private issue,” said Grant. “[But] despite what the public thinks about us, we are a normal family… I look forward to little giggly, quirky, elf-like silly little kids if they decide to have them… I imagine what it would be like to be an aunt and how cute those kids would be.”

      From http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2018/01/12/meghan-markles-half-sister-media-scrutiny-following-prince-harry-engagement-has-caused-family-lot-pain.html

So I'm first thinking they will look like the elves but then I'm thinking maybe hobbits. Another really bizarre remark---run, Meghan---is England far enough away??

  34. Thanks for the recap, Allison.😊 I wasn't aware of anything in that article including her go-fund-me page requesting a new house. I do not envy Meghan in how she and Harry are going to handle her half-siblings media involvement 🤦🏼‍♀️ now and in the future.

    1. The new house deal was some months ago. Samantha wanted a disability-friendly house, which I can understand, but perhaps it was a hint from her that she could be nice of she received something she needed, I don't know. I think there is a bit of sibling fatigue, and maybe they will just fade away in the future. All sorts of snarly "articles" came out about Kate and her mother and they have stopped.

Meanwhile, I looked up Cardiff Castle and am blown away! Did not know anything about it. This should be an incredible visit!!

    2. Allison.😊 Nope. But I'm going to Cardiff Castle wiki now. :)

  35. Diana's friend Julia Samuel hugely approves of Harry and Meghan's engagement:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeId2hpm1J4

I believe Meghan mentioned meeting Julia when Harry talked about introducing her to the important people in his life.

The press always picks up the silly stuff but never the positive stuff. Is that why American press gets real friends while British press has mediums that talk with Diana.
