What could be better than an evening at Beyoncé's history-making Renaissance tour? That would be enjoying a second performance of an event which has been described as a masterpiece. That's right, Meghan returned to the SoFi Stadium for Beyonce's last Los Angeles gig, which celebrates the icon's 42nd birthday. Whilst the Duchess's first appearance with Harry, Doria and friends offered some pretty unforgettable videos (catch up on that here), last night's event offered a fabulous photo, taken by the official Parkwood photographer for the event, featuring Meghan with Beyoncé's fellow Destiny's Child alum Kelly Rowland and the inimitable Kerry Washington (Olivia Pope!).
Once again, Doria was in attendance.
The only one who may have had more fun at Saturday’s Beyoncé concert than Meghan is Mama Doria. She also ran it back for #BeyDay. Beyhive membership runs in the family. 🐝 #MeghanMarkle #RENAISSANCEWorldTour pic.twitter.com/yohX63J4Yv

'Beyoncé’s last LA gig on Monday – which coincided with her 42nd birthday – might have been her starriest to date. Along with Hollywood royalty – Zendaya and Tom Holland, The Bear star Ayo Edebiri – there was actual royalty singing along to “Cuff It” at the SoFi Stadium: super-fan the Duchess of Sussex joined Bey’s Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland and Scandal star Kerry Washington in the crowd.'
Both Kelly and Kerry have been very supportive of Meghan over the years. They also ran in similar circles when Meghan was acting on Suits. A decade ago, Meghan attended an ELLE event, celebrating Kerry's magazine cover.
It very much appears the Duchess was in attendance with friends and Tyler Perry, Lili's godfather. Tyler is also a huge Beyoncé fan and was also there the first night Meghan was. You can see the duo mingling in the video below.

Meghan sat with Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos and his wife.
There was a very special moment during the show when legend Diana Ross walked on stage to sing 'Happy Birthday' to Beyoncé.
"Thank you so much, you are so amazing,” Beyoncé told Ross on the stage as they held hands. “This is the legendary Diana Ross! There would be no me without you and thank you so much for all of your sacrifice and your beauty and your grace. Thank you for opening doors for me. Thank you so much.”
“You sang 'Happy Birthday' to me so I wanted to sing it to you,” Ross replied with a smile.

To celebrate her birthday concerts, Beyoncé had a request for fans: "Virgo season is upon us. This tour has been such a joy and as we approach the last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the show 8.23 – 9.22. We'll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night. Everybody mirroring each other's joy, Virgo season together in the House of Chrome. See you there!"
Meghan gladly obliged opting for a shimmering silver SPRWN skirt and matching Aquazzura sandals on night one.

Last night, Meghan chose a black top teamed with a metallic skirt. The entire look and her shorter hair is very much reminiscent of her Suits days. With thanks to Meghan's Closet Chronicles and What Meghan Wore, the top appears to be Anine Bing's 'Becca' style. It's available in S-L here.
The top is described:
'The Becca Top is a twist-front, full-length tank made from a heavyweight textured crepe fabrication. Finished with an invisible zipper at the back of its high neckline for an easy-to-wear construction.
The Becca Top fits close at the chest, straightening out slightly through its body. Take your true size.'
Meanwhile, ahead of a very busy September, Prince Harry enjoyed a night out at the star-studded Inter Miami v Los Angeles FC game. Since the legendary Lionel Messi signed with Miami, there's been an incredible boom in interest and the fortunes of the team are changing right before our eyes. Harry has always loved sport and had a fantastic time at the game.
It's this kind of excitement.

Harry with Rob McElhenney, who is fast becoming best known for Welcome to Wrexham. If you're not watching it, as someone who doesn't know the first thing about football, let me highly recommend it to you. Rob and Ryan Reynolds bought the fading Welsh club and through investment, support and sheer heart are changing its fortunes and that of the amazing town. They were joined by It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Glenn Howerton.
A reminder: we'll see Harry at the WellChild awards on Thursday before a week of inspiring sporting action kicks off with Invictus.
They certainly are living the celebrity lifestyle and must have been a really fun concert. Meghan doesn't seem to miss royal life at all. I've seen Beyonce live and she's fabulous. Kelly Rowland looks stunning. Meghan also looked lovely at the concert nice to see them feeling free and happy despite constant vitriol coming at them from the press.
ReplyDeleteYou have the most comprehensive coverage! I did not know that Doria was there, too, or that Meghan met with Tyler. Or that Harry danced (bless him). SO nice to see them have fun and mingle. (Not quite what the junk "news"papers like to write about them.) Thank you for yet another fun post.
ReplyDeletePlease what is going on with some individuals that are so miserable/hateful whenever the Sussex are out of their house doing one thing or the other.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that the Sussex are going about their business is becoming unbearable for some haters...... Kudos to those that are problem/hate free individuals
ReplyDeleteLooking good
ReplyDeleteFree from toxic environment.....well done
ReplyDeleteI always have to say more! I really do like this top -- it's got some nice details. Also, can we tell whether Meghan's hair is shorter/trimmed?
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping up with the updates Charlotte. I read somewhere that she could be wearing the Isabel Marant metallic trousers?
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, I'm feeling positive about Meghan coming out of her house, hopefully she's got back her groove and I'm looking forward to seeing her and Harry be in their element and do wonderful things 💛.
Humaira, Australia.
she seems to you can see how free and joyous she is when dancing !
DeleteYeah bless! I don't understand negativity directed towards anyone, not just H&M. Life is too short. If we're content and at peace with our lives, that should automatically exude and reflect towards others 💞. Humaira.
DeleteRegarding those mentioning the haters, I really don't understand it all. H&M will NEVER be the heirs, so they have not abandoned the UK. I don't see why they cannot live like Harry's cousins, with the exception that they receive no support, whether financial or public pushback against all he lies. They have to "make a living," and I know Meghan is brilliant in coming up with ideas. I have read (keeping in mind that most of what one reads is false) that her blog could be very lucrative. I'm just very happy to see them happy.
ReplyDeleteI happened upon a video on Twitter showing the New Zealand Invictus team members being welcomed at the airport as they arrived in Germany and it really was so touching!! I give Harry so much credit for starting and championing the games. I think the games help even those who can't compete.
ReplyDeleteJust wondering why there are so many anonymous comments now? I thought it wasn't allowed on this blog?
ReplyDeleteI'm super excited to see Harry at WellChild. I am sorry to not see Meghan but I'm sure the decision made for Harry to go alone was made thoughtfully. Hope to see lots of Meghan at Invictus!
ReplyDeleteGreat coverage, thank you.
ReplyDeleteI like to comment occasionally and prefer to stay anonymous. I think it’s ok. I know topics like H&M and the BRF can be flashpoint for some people and Charlotte does a great job keeping the sites safe and open. (Thank you for that Charlotte.) It’s unfortunately the negative side of 24/7 social connectivity.
ReplyDeleteI’m enjoying the peekaboo views of Meghan and Harry’s outings with their friends and family. I especially love seeing Doria enjoying her time shaking it up with them 😬.
